Why good oral health matters
Your oral health is closely linked to your overall health. An infection in your mouth isn’t just unpleasant, it can also affect the rest of your body. Good brushing is the basis. But a toothbrush doesn’t remove all bacteria, and you can’t see everything that’s going on in your mouth yourself.
Catching problems early
During a check-up, we can often spot a problem before you notice anything yourself. That’s why we recommend a check-up every six months. Our dental hygienists and prevention assistants also give you clear advice on keeping your teeth healthy at home.
Registered and certified
You should be able to check the quality of your dentist. That’s why we’re open about our registrations and certifications:
- All our dentists are registered with the Dutch Quality Register for Dentists (KRT).
- Our dental hygienists are members of the Dutch Association of Dental Hygienists (NVM) and registered with the Quality Register for Dental Hygienists (KRM).
- Our implantologist is certified by the Dutch Society of Oral Implantology (NVOI).
- Our periodontist is a member of the Dutch Society of Periodontology (NVvP).

Always learning
Dentistry develops quickly, so ongoing training is a fixed part of our work. This keeps us up to date with the latest techniques and insights, and we work with modern equipment. We work carefully and hygienically, with every treatment.
What you can expect from us
We always explain what we’re going to do and why. Before a larger treatment, you’ll receive a treatment plan with a clear cost estimate. And quality costs nothing extra: dental rates in the Netherlands are set nationally by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa), so you pay the same as at any other dentist. Our whole team speaks fluent English, so nothing gets lost in translation.

About Tandarts Jordaan
